Research Interests: primary research interest: ocean electrodynamics and the electromagnetic interactions of the ocean with the atmosphere and solid earth. The focus has been on using theory and numerical models to study magnetohydrodynamic processes in the ocean as well as the propagation of enviromental electromagnetic fields from the atmosphere into the ocean.
